Apple FaceTime for Video Calls

Apple's new video calls application, FaceTime, make a long-distance location to very close. Just with a tap, you can make video calls from your iPad 2 to someone else’s iPad 2, iPhone 4, new iPod touch, or Mac.



Let’s say you want to start a video call with your best friend. Just find her name in your Favorites list and tap the FaceTime button. An invitation pops up on her iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, or Mac asking if she wants to join you. When she accepts, the FaceTime call begins. Up pops her face - right in front of yours and nearly life-size - on the big iPad display. All you need is an Apple ID and an email address and you’re good to go. It’s even easier than picking up the phone.

FaceTime is one of the best application from Apple. This application will compete with other applications such as Skype and Google Video Calls.
