HP will sell TouchPad Tablet powered by Palm WebOS

Hewlett Packard (HP) will start to sell TouchPad Tablet at July 1, 2011. The tablet uses the Palm WebOS that are acquired by HP several months ago.



The first target market is United States, then some other countries will follow in the next couple of days, such as Britain, Ireland, France, and Germany. The next State of Canada in mid-July. HP also had confirmed plans to enter the TouchPad to Australia, HongKong, Italy, New Zealand, Singapore, and Spain before the end of the year.

The TouchPad price is offered from 499.99 U.S. dollars for the 16 GB version and U.S. $ 599.99 for 32 GB. For while the new version of WiFi are available. However, HP also has prepared version of WiFi and mobile and will hold AT & T, the end of this year.

TouchPad uses a 9.7-inch screen with 1024 x 768 pixels, weights about 0.8 pounds with the metal casing wrapped. The system is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor 1.2 GHz. Currently, there are about 6,000 applications that can run on the tablet.
